My fellow Alex Marco post a nice and simple 3 things you need to do correctly to boost your site traffic generation.
In hes article he writes about common sense in SEO world. This 3 things hes talking about are:
1. never depend only on one resource of traffic (PPC, forum posting, article writing…)
2. ensure that whatever traffic channel you use is working
3. be your self
Never depend only on one traffic source
Try to use as much as possible traffic resources, because the more you have more traffic will get to your website. But most important is that you wont get bad SEO results if for a example you were using forum posting and then forum on which you post lots of posts got shut down, this will have major result in your search engine ranking.
Make sure traffic channel you use is working
Sometimes people jump from one marketing method to other. For example they start with article writing and for next 2 weeks they see no results and switch to video marketing and then they see this is not working as well, then they go on PPC and lose some cash and go back to article marketing. Make sure your article marketing works and after you make sure it works, go to other traffic channel and do as much working methods you can.
Third and most important SEO advice is personality
Be your self, do not try to copy someone else job, do not act as someone else. Try to be who you are, this will give you a brand and you will get more people coming to your website and buying your product.
