Bill GatesFew days ago Search Engine Land have give advice to Bill Gates. Advice is about SEO for hes blog. Bill Gates now have more time so he have open a blog. Blog which is very badly optimized. So SEL is giving him advice how to make hes blog more popular, how to rank higher on Google and on its own search engine BING.

Let go trough some of the advices they give him:
The importance of being an earnest title tag
Well poor Bill Gates didn’t do proper title tags, he use The Gates notes as title tag instead of Official Bill Gates blog which will give him higher ranking and more visitors to hes blog. Title tags are important, so check your title tags too.
Importance of being official is if you check Google blog you will see that first outcome is official Google blog.
SEL gave him advice about duplicates which he had a lot. Problem is that every page on Bill Gates blog is titled same, The Gates Notes, instead of making every page have unique title. Thats the reason why search engines think that this are all duplicates.
They told him to use webmaster central on Google and Bing.
Bill Gates blog have all rookies mistakes possible, redirecting same pages to one page (www. Without www, index.html to www.domainname.com…)
