IP addressInternet addresses do not mean domain names; currently we have no problem for domain names yet. However, now Internet might have crisis because short of internet protocol or IP addresses and it might finish in less than a year. IP addresses are numbers assigned to all of the devices including computers, phones, cars, wireless sensors, etc. that log on to the Internet.

There are a few reasons that caused the usage of IP addresses increase dramatically. One of it, is sensor data, smart grids, RFID and other Internet of Things data. Also, there are more and more mobile devices connecting to the Internet every year. To solve this problem, internet researchers are working on a new version of the system called IPv6, for “version six” which would allow many more IP addresses, with each holding 128 bits of info, while current version , can only handle 32 bits of data. If this problem do not solved, a “black market” of IP addresses might appear.

Who would think this would happen, and how will people sell IP addresses on black market?
