The domain name owner of DandG.com, Mike Rodenbaugh of Rodenbaugh Law, was just fought off a complaint by Dolce & Gabbana, a well known trademark on D&G since at least 1994. Before that, Mike was offered to sell his domain with an amount of more than $100,000 by Dolce & Gabbana. There are some important reasons for the decision making. The domain name was first registered on year 2003. The Panel finds that the disputed domain name is in fact the functional equivalent of the trademark D&G, and accordingly it can reasonably be viewed as a virtual replication of the Complainant’s D&G trademark. The panel even takes a lot weight that the domain owner put up his domain in Twitter and Facebook page for D & G Marketing and actually had followers.
After all the circumstances, the complainant do not comply requirement under paragraph 4(a) (ii) of the Policy. Besides, there was another similar case that the conflict happened between domain names BandH.com and trademark of B&H (photo equipment).
Yea i think they deserve the trademark rights. Dont buy trademark domains.

Hi, please note that Mike Rodenbaugh was and is not the registrant of the dandg.com domain name. My firm represented the registrant in the proceeding, and yes we did successfully defend the complaint. I would appreciate you correcting the story.
Thanks,
Mike Rodenbaugh
