IPV6While registration of domain names growing fast in these days, domain names dispute also getting more and more serious. Currently, domain names are using IPv4 but people are working on the IPv6 and very soon India would adopt the new IPv6 framework. Online dispute resolution (ODR) mechanism is one of the methods that is used by  individuals, organizations and nations from all around the world for resolving various disputes.

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has been using ODR mechanism to resolve disputes for long. Besides, selective institutions In India are also providing alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services. However, no matter ADR or ODR in India also have limited growth because lack of awareness among the individuals and companies engaged in disputes. The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 is the sole ADR law of India and there is no dedicated law regarding ODR in India and the Law Minister Veerappa Moily is considering to amend in the ADR law of India.

India soon to have IPV6 is sure great news for that country, would you like to have IPV6?
